The 2010 Hunydai Sonata Sedan Test Drive Diary

• Last weekend , i am eager to find out everythings about this new Sonata model and i finally got into it. 

• Is a Mid Size Executive Sedan catergory.

• The 1st impression when you look at the car is " Mercedes Benz  CLS's Cousin"!!!  I just ask for a test drive and without waiting  too long we were out on the road.

• Overall i feel that this is a better looking Hunydai car so far , i mean all this while all the design is base on oriental's concept untill they get some outsider to asist them.

• The cockpit give you a grand , luxury and very european style.Without warning it is actually designed by the Mercedes Benz and BMW design team.From steering , dashboard , center console , the glass roof top , retractable or power roof ,push to start button , drive train and etc.

• All this features has been reimplement or revolutionized Hunydai image and status for this very moment and all this development costs USD372 million.

• Performance wise i find this 2.0 Litre version is a bit slow when accelerating , cornering is attachable , steering grips feel so far so good.

• Cabin space is comfortable , luxury touchs of the leather , head and legs room is sufficient and Luggage cargo is  adequate as well. 

• Gear oil only changed and service every 100,000KM it unbelievable and the runiing cost for normal service is below RM200.00.  

• Engine capacity and layout : 2.0 Litre ( 163bhp )Price RM143.880K or Basic Spec is RM135K , 2.0 Litre V6 Turbo ( 274bhp ), 2.4 Litre ( 198bhp )RM163K all model are FWD.

• Closest Rival : Toyota Camry 2.0L , 2.4L and Honda Accord 2.4L.

•  too much investmnet for this car  
• doubtfull of Hunydai engineering's reliability.
